    Borzoi Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Borzoi is a shaggy dog about the size of a greyhound. Borzoi are quiet, intelligent, well-mannered dogs. They can be rather reserved and may be nervous around young children unless socialized with them as puppies. Borzoi are sighthounds; they should not be allowed off a leash except in a secure fenced area. Borzoi are affectionate but somewhat aloof and cat-like. Borzoi tend to keep themselves very clean. Adult Borzoi are mellow and fairly inactive indoors. Borzoi are a laid back choice for apartment life as long as they get enough exercise.
